  • Wow!! Fantastic experience all around. Made reservations about a month in advance for New Year's Eve night (2 adults). Very busy & strict on the 2 hour time limit. Seated at the bar/cooking area. Loved the atmosphere immediately upon walking in! Staff was so friendly and attentive + English friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered! -Mixed Tempura (veggies & shrimp) -Shishito peppers -Grilled Mushrooms -Vegan sashimi platter -Cold udon noodles -Wagyu uni sashimi (so good!) -Beef meshi (BEST dish!) -Sashimi assortment -4 Beer & 2 Sake Total was about $165 USD. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

  • Iconic and Energetic Famous as the Kill Bill inspiration, this bustling izakaya nails the dramatic Edo-era vibe with wooden beams, open grills, and lively chaos—perfect for groups, less so for quiet dinners. Atmosphere: Electric and fun, filled with smoky aromas and enthusiastic staff shouts. Service: Efficient, friendly, and tourist-welcoming with English menus. Food: Highlights are juicy yakitori skewers and fresh handmade soba; portions generous, quality high (though pricey at ~¥10,000/pp). A must-visit for the spectacle and solid Japanese classics—book ahead!

  • The restaurant has a distinctive atmosphere that feels traditional and full of character, which is the main reason we chose to dine here. We reserved in advance and pre-booked the halal omakase menu and there were also halal friendly options available for the kids. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The team was very friendly and welcoming, including the restaurant manager, Jalal (Mario). We would have loved to try some items from the sushi menu as well, as they looked really delicious. Overall, a great dining experience that we truly enjoyed.

  • MUST VISIT!!! Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu is such an AMAZING, fun, lit up place, guaranteed to make you want to stay all night. The staff were welcoming, kind and the waiters were humorous! The music made the atmosphere so fun, it felt like I had butterflies as soon as I entered the restaurant. The food so delicious, you can watch the chefs cooking. The lighting and decoration is great as well. Theres an upstairs with more seating, and you can get a great view of the downstairs area. Lots of people come to know this restaurant as the “Kill Bill Restaurant“, but honestly, if you came without even knowing about Kill Bill, you’d still have so much fun. - Delicious food - Great staff - Beautiful atmosphere - Fun music - Tourist friendly - English speaking

  • Cool Izakaya Vibe, very welcoming, the staff greats every costumer that comes in and they yell it thru the whole place. In the beginning it was kind of annoying, but the longer you sit there and drink more cocktails it didn’t matter that much. Cocktails where unique and good, the Food we ate was ok. It was a good experience, especially if you are a Fan of the Kill Bill Movies. I would recommend to make a reservation it was pretty busy.
